Every person is unique and there is no one size fits all, therefore every therapeutic session is a unique experience in its own way. It is an opportunity to reflect, understand oneself better, to be able to heal and make better choices for oneself.

Shivangi Gokhale

Integrative Counsellor &  Psychotherapist

Shivangi is a warm, empathic and supportive integrative psychotherapist who works with adults. She offers a calm, safe space where clients can slow down, reflect, and explore whatever feels difficult or overwhelming. Her approach is grounded, steady and attuned; clients often describe feeling heard, supported and understood.

With a background in clinical psychology, Shivangi brings both depth and clarity to her therapeutic work. She blends emotional exploration with practical tools that clients can use in daily life, helping them feel more resourced and in control. Her integrative approach draws on a range of therapies, including relational and attachment-based work, person-centred therapy, CBT, Gestalt and existential perspectives, always tailored to what each person needs in the moment.

Shivangi supports people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood and depression, panic attacks, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, family dynamics, grief and bereavement, and LGBTQ+ experiences. She offers both short-term focused therapy and longer-term in-depth work for those who want to understand themselves more deeply.

At the heart of Shivangi’s work is the belief that therapy should feel like a place where you can safely bring your whole self — your worries, your questions, your emotions and your hopes. She works collaboratively, helping clients understand the patterns that shape their lives and supporting them to move towards choices and relationships that feel more aligned, grounded and fulfilling.

As well as being fluent in English, Shivangi can also offer therapy in Hindi and Marathi  and holds a very good understanding of South Asian culture.
